Reasons: There can be the following possible reasons that lead to a hanging belly, or it is termed as the apron belly. Increasing Breastfeed Supply

Increasing breastfeed supply Busting the myth: If you are a first time mommy and you are worried that your baby still cries even after you have breast fed him, and all you think is that your breast milk is not enough and all he wants is more feed, then you are wrong, and everyone else who is telling you that is also wrong!!! Babies often cry when they are hungry, but they cry more often because of other things, like sleepiness, diaper rash, colic etc. Although it can happen that your breastmilk supply is hindered because of some reasons, and you should know that breastmilk takes some time, a day or two to get the flow, but thinking that every time your baby is crying is that because of he is getting less breastmilk, and every time he cries you try to tuck in his mouth a bottle of formula milk. Don’t do that! Reasons that can hinder breastmilk supply: Stress: If you are taking a lot of stress and have too much worry or anxiety on your head, ...

Losing weight after C-section

How I lost 12 Kgs after third c-section     To start it off, I would really like to tell you all that before getting pregnant with my first baby I have been around 41kgs to 45kgs all the time, and yes this is the ideal weight for a very small person like me. Ever since my first pregnancy I had put on a lot of weight. Six months after my first baby, I got pregnant again and this time the weight had almost doubled. After giving birth I tried different methods, exercised, tried to limit my food intake but that disturbed my breastmilk supply, so I just accepted that I have to be overweight the rest of my life, or until my babies are old enough that I can take some time out for myself. My baby number two had just turned 2 years old and exactly when I was thinking to move on and get him off the breastfeed, and make a routine for myself to lose weight, I got to know I was pregnant again.!!!!!! So I totally gave in and thought that mother nature doesn’t want me to be back on m...

5 Year Old Behaviour Problems

Behavioural issues in 5-year-old child. Your child has turned or will soon be 5 years old, and suddenly you have started to notice strange behavioural problems. Your child gets angry very easily, he doesn’t want to share his toys with siblings, you try to discipline him, but he doesn’t care, or usually wouldn’t listen to what you want him to do. If you are going through such a phase, then you should know that you are not alone. Although every kid is different from the other but trust me almost all parents go through this phase of their child’s life where the kid becomes stubborn, doesn’t want to listen, and gets angry when you discipline them. As a parent, it is understandable that the situation is sometimes very frustrating and saddening, because the once good obedient little baby has now become an angry young man and you cannot figure out how to deal with it. What causes such behaviour? I believe that a kid’s personality is like a blank canvas from the beginning, and ...

My baby doesn’t like me !

My baby doesn’t like me ! As the societies have evolved and increased financial needs many women have to go back to work right after their short maternity leave. It so happens that when you join work again or are away from your child you have to leave your baby with someone else. I have seen women complaining that their baby doesn’t like them, or when they get back home their baby starts being fussy and don’t want to come to them. As a mother, I can understand this situation very well. You have had a human in your womb for around nine months, your little human shared your flesh, blood, thought and body for good long time and that makes you naturally feeling responsible to be there for them all the time. But because your life-needs do not allow you to be an EVERYTIME AVAILABLE mom, you feel guilty. It might seem, that your baby is more comfortable with his daddy, or his grandparent and whenever you try to carry him or feed him he suddenly becomes angry and fussy. You might thi...
